The Linashore Golf Classic is proud to announce our charity for 2010
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Susan Love will be here to speak to us on
April 3, 2010.
The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation works to eradicate breast cancer and improve the quality of women’s health through innovative research, education, and advocacy. To date, we have received more than $3 Million dollars to pursue our own intraductal research, and the Foundation has awarded pilot grants totaling more than $900,000 to intraductal researchers.
In October 2008, the Foundation, in partnership with the Avon Foundation launched the
Love/Avon Army of Women, a revolutionary new initiative that is going to change the face of
breast cancer research forever. The Army of Women offers a revolutionary new opportunity
for women to partner with research scientists to move us beyond a cure.
The Lina will be Saturday April 3th. To all of you that were on the waiting list last year I would highly suggest to get your entries in early this year to make sure you have a playing spot. The events will be the same as last year, make sure you bring an extra $10 for the two side bets,
The Yellow Ball & The Least or Most Putts. Both of these fun side bets brought in cash prizes.
Can’t wait to see all the returning players and meeting the new players. Don’t forget that if you don’t have a foursome I will pair you up with someone fun and for those of you single’s I will put you together with a fun group.
